ACCOMMODATIONS.

This gorgeous cabin is located in Hocking Hills and has everything we need for a beautiful heart-filled yoga retreat. It is the largest of the Idyll Reserve brand-new cabins, the Main House was built for entertaining. Perfect for a family or a group of friends. This cabin features a spacious great room with fully equipped kitchen, a cozy living and dining area and a gas fireplace. A large outdoor living area boasts a private hot tub, wood-burning fireplace, gas grill, dining and a cozy lounge area.

This cabin is suitable for guests who have accessibility needs. There is a large parking area, zero entry ramp to door, and step-less entry to all interior areas of the cabin. There is also a large zero entry outdoor covered deck. The outdoor platform is exceptional for our yoga classes.

The Main House has the following sleeping options: a king suite, a queen suite, a top and bottom bunk, and a pull out queen sofa couch.

Please note: the cabin has two private rooms with en suite bathrooms. The king suite has a free standing tub and shower that will be exclusive to those who reserve this space. The a queen suite is private, but the shower is shared among other retreat participants with the discretion of those in the queen suite. This arrangement has not caused any problems in the past. There is also a half bath for everyone to use.

My suggestion is two friends reserve the private room accommodations who don’t mind sharing the same bed. However, I have paired two people in the private suite wanting to attend solo, but also desired privacy and it worked out great. This is an option if you'd like one of the private rooms, but would prefer to come solo and don’t mind making a new friend.

If you would like to reserve one of the suites for yourself only, please write me and inquire about the difference in the reservation rate. This circumstance will change the number of participants who can attend this retreat, so your new rate will reflect that.

NOURISHMENT.

The retreat menu is intentionally hand crafted to nourish from the inside out. Each meal is made with love and with a focus on vibrancy for the heart and soul. We support our local farmers and makers when possible. All meals are vegetarian during the retreat.

If you have any special dietary needs or restrictions, we can happily accommodate.

IT TAKES BRAVERY FOR YOUR HEART TO REMAIN OPEN IN A WORLD LIKE THIS.

MEET YOUR GUIDE.

I have been leading workshops, retreats, and events to practitioners of all levels for years. Nothing fills my cup more than creating opportunities to bring people together in community, holding space for authentic freedom, and co-creating experiences that spark joy. The Wild Heart theme is personal. This curriculum comes from an embodied place that I have been called to share with others. I have learned more from people who are still healing than those who claim to be fully healed.

There is a bit of a leap of faith when signing up for a retreat with people you may not know in a place you may not be familiar with. The magic happens in the space between support and acceptance. You will be cared for along the way as we tap into our wildest heart’s desires.

If you are thinking of joining us, then there is no better time to answer the call.

F A Q S

  • My deepest concern is the health and safety of attendees, staff, and the local community. We are following all precautions set up by the CDC, and also understand that present circumstances change often, can be overwhelming, and exhausting. We will trust that you use your honorable discretion when choosing to mask or not. We recommend being up to date with vaccinations, but you will not be asked to disclose your status.

  • If at any point you are feeling unwell, sick, uncomfortable, overwhelmed, or unsafe, please alert me and we will find a resolution. I will also have a comment box in which you can place concerns, anonymous or not, that I will check on the hour.

  • You will have already marked your dietary needs in a welcome email when you are fully registered, but should you need to make adjustments, please inform me as soon as possible.

  • Extra yoga mats, yoga props, and everything you need for your the art workshops are included. All meals will be provided during the retreat, but you are welcome to bring food to store in the communal refrigerator. All other amenities built into the retreat space are detailed above.

  • You should bring your yoga mat, yoga props, and any personal items that would make your experience more comfortable. We will have extra yoga props and all the supplies you will need for the workshops.

  • All movement practices will be trauma-informed, beginner-friendly, and accessible. You will be reminded that you are in control of what you choose to do or not; consent is paramount in all offerings.

  • You do not have to participate in anything you do not want to. It may be good for the soul to do something that challenges you. But, there are plenty of nooks and spaces to be with yourself. If you do plan to exchange an activity for private time, please inform me, the retreat host.

  • During the retreat, you are not permitted to leave the property unless in case of an emergency. To keep all safe, we must all be accounted for. Please ask for assistance if you need to discuss leaving the property.

  • Guests with any level of experience are welcome to join the retreat. Every practice will be made accessible through modifications and support. You always have the choice to opt-out of an activity. Although, I do encourage you to challenge yourself and participate in the program offerings to get the most out of your experience.

  • There will not be sufficient time for me to provide a private session for everyone during the retreat, however I will have one to two openings if you would like to schedule that with me personally at an additional charge.

  • We are adopting backcountry etiquette and will pack-out what we pack-in. You will be responsible for your messes. More check-out details will be provided.
